Caffinate — Open App Store for AI Workflows

Open-source (MIT) platform to build, fork, and monetize AI workflows — backed by a distributed compute grid and token-based rewards. Native desktop, mobile & web.

About This Project

Caffinate is an open-source (MIT) consumer platform for the AI creator economy: a marketplace where anyone can build, fork, and monetize AI workflows, paired with a distributed compute grid where devices earn rewards for contributing idle CPU/GPU. A 1,200+ commit monorepo spanning a Bloomberg-style creator terminal, a no-code workflow builder with a multi-step execution engine, native desktop (Tauri), mobile (React Native), and web (Next.js) clients, an Express + Drizzle/Prisma API on PostgreSQL with Redis + BullMQ job queues, on-chain settlement scaffolding, usage-based billing, and anti-abuse economic invariants — with cross-platform CI producing installers per release. Built solo with AI as a force multiplier, released under the MIT license so anyone can build on it.
