About This Project
A personally committed venture: mobile respiratory therapy and sleep medicine for South Dakota, where roughly 36,000 adults live with diagnosed COPD and a quarter of the population is rural. The research phase established that a respiratory therapist cannot bill insurers directly, which reshaped the plan into a DME supplier with a collaborating medical director, an RPM annuity billed under physician supervision, and contract RT hours for short-staffed rural hospitals — with in-home delivery as the differentiator. Deliverables: a cited deep-research report, an operating plan with a path-to-exit sensitivity model, and an eight-tab live-formula financial model with conservative / base / upside scenarios (base case reaches ~$1M revenue by year five). Leverages the RPM software built for the sleep-medicine platform as a technology moat. Timeline runs through a two-year RT credential.
